This LCD does support and accept all Pal, NTSC, and Secam signals. However it does not have a Pal tuner.  This basically means that if you are using the old fashioned roof Antenna (Ariel) to receive tv, you will need a VCR or DVD Recorder, or some kind of tuner to change channels on. Most modern applications in the USA, Asia, Europe, Africa, and most other countries involve the USE of a cable box or Satellite receiver. Therefore having a tuner is not necessary. However if you do not subscribe to some kind of cable or satellite service, and do not have a satellite receiver, then you will need to use a VCR or DVD recorder to watch TV on this LCD.  If you do not wish to buy a DVD recorder or VCR and need a Pal tuner we do sell a Similar 23" model that comes with a Pal/NTSC/Secam tuner built in.
