The Pioneer Elite 48AV is modified for region free / code free and will allow you to play any region disc, including new RCE and REA discs. Watch movies from all zones 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 with the region free Pioneer Elite 48AV dvd player. This code free dvd player can play both PAL and NTSC discs enabling you to watch both USA and European discs on one machine. Wonderful player

Bought this player for my 50 inch plasma. I wanted to play movies from England. It worked great, hook it up with hdmi and the picture is really good. 5 out of 5 rating. Plays region 2 movies that are pal with no problems at all. Simple plug and play solution

Pioneer Elite player with 1080p is great

Purchased this Pioneer Elite 1080p player so my family can watch our dvd movies from back home as well as the USA. It works like a charm. Plays all our movies, with wonderful picture quality and sound was good to. It plays the Pal foreign movies great too.

Good player

I bought 2 of these and they are really good. They do everything they say, shipping is fast and packaged well. Both of mine came in one brown box with bubble wrap with the DVD player box inside. Only bad thing is that fedex didn't leave it at the door so I had to wait until the next day so I can sign for it.

Buyer Beware

I bought this player to play BLU Ray and HD dvd movies I see in stores. It doesn't play any of them; not blu ray or HD dvd. I was very upset because I wanted it for Thanksgiving to play Blu Ray and HD dvd movies. I ended up keeping it and buying another HD dvd player region free from you guys. It is working good but I need to have both players to play HD dvd and normal DVD. Also I still can't play Blu Ray. THERE NEEDS TO BE ONE UNIVERSAL STANDARD TO PLAY ALL KINDS OF DVD'S.

Merchant Comments:  This player is not intended to play BLU RAY or HD DVD movies. It is for normal DVD movies. It will play any Normal DVD movie from anywhere in the world. It will not play HD DVD movies or BLURay dvd movies. We will be offering these players shortly, please call us for more information (877) 578-0587. However our BLU RAY and HD DVD players will not play normal dvd movies when they come out, so you will need to purchase a player like the PIoneer Elite or other region free player as well as a HD dvd or Blu Ray player if yo want to play all kinds of movies. At this time we are waiting for the BLU Ray and HD DVD Player prices to come down and for them to work out 1 format before we start recommending these players to our customers. We feel that this Pioneer Elite 48AV is  a great buy until then and you can continue to use it in the future even when you buy a HD DVD or Blu-Ray player.

Great dvd deck for the price

I own a small production company in CA, and get a lot of foreign films. This player worked like to charm and it played every single disc. I think it's a great bang for the buck.

Super picture quality

I purchased this player from you guys and received it by FEDEX within a weeks time. Fast efficient delivery, I had to pay FedEx for duties/GST/PST in Canada which amounted to about 15%. Since I requested a International Air shipment for $39 they did not charge the crazy brokerage fee that they charge on Fedex ground or UPS ground packaged. Now the player, it is awesome. I really like it. I can play movies from France and UK and the picture is really good. I use a HDMi cable for connection. Well worth the money, and they way Canada/USA currency is right now, it's worth it to purchase from the USA even after the Duties and Taxes

Amazing picture and good shipping

I normally don't write reviews but I wanted you guys/gals to know that you offered a amazing product. It allows me to play movies from different countries, and play some bootleg movies that don't play on other players. Even DIVX my husband downloads from computer play fine. I'm very impressed by the level of service you offered which is rare to find these days. I bought a cheap piece of junk from a company call samsstores and it was worthless. I paid $100 including shipping and it took 2 weeks to get to me. The box it come in looked like it went through world war III and when I tried to watch a movie it didn't even work. I sent it back and they are giving me a hard time to get a refund. My experience with your company has been very pleasant; Hence I am writing this review. I will tell my friends about you.
