Toshiba region free dvd player but confused on which one to get?

didn't work out of the box
I received this player today and it was dead out of the box. It is
going back and exchange for something better.

Bought this player as it was a cheap player and a Toshiba name brand.
Quality is okay to say the most. Sometimes it says no disc
even though i got a disc in there. It does play back foreign
movies which is the reason I bought it. If I could go back I
would have bought something a little better.
